I Can't Do This By Myself

Mar 30, 2025    Pastor Dr. Aill R. Harris, Jr.

This message reminds us that while the harvest is great, the laborers are few—and we were never meant to do this alone. As Jesus traveled teaching, preaching, and healing, He was moved with compassion for the scattered crowds, like sheep without a shepherd. He invited His disciples to join Him, showing that kingdom work is a shared calling.

Jesus served both the flawed and the faithful, going out and speaking out to meet people where they were. He looked out with the heart of a shepherd, especially for those left out. And like a farmer, He saw a strategy—calling us not to burn out, but to reach out through prayer and obedience, trusting that God will send the right laborers.

If you’re feeling the weight of doing it all yourself, this message encourages you to lean on God and others. The work is great—but you’re not in it alone.
